Air pods were a big deal when they first came out and the popularity is only rising. Everyone who owns an iPhone either owns a pair of air pods or they are planning to. If you are planning to buy yourself a pair of air pods there are few things that you should know about the casing. No, not iPhone casing. Casing for your air pods.
I know it might sound odd, why would you need a case for your air pods? Well for starters, the air pods are blue tooth. This means that they don’t have a wire attached and will just go into your ear and play music from your phone with no strings attached. This is perfect for exercise or traveling of any kind. You don’t have to worry about your earbuds falling out due to the cord being pulled because there is no cord.
But you need somewhere to put your air pods when you aren’t using them. This is where the casing comes in. When you aren’t using your air pods have no strings attached, so you could sit them anywhere. But this also makes it easy to lose them. So you need a case.
Air pods typically come in a small plastic case, but there are other options that you can choose from if the plastic cases aren’t good enough. I’m going to list the pros and cons of each case and you can make the final decision for yourself at the end of the story.
Plastic cases for air pods. Pros: They come with the purchase of air pods so you don’t have to spend extra money, they’re small so they don’t take up a lot of space meaning you can put them in your pocket or purse with no worry they’re gonna take up a lot of room, and they keep the air pods safe if you spill water around them.
The cons of plastic cases are: They are still small cases and the air pods can be kind of hard to get in and out of them. There are fewer cons than there are pros, this is good thing. But the cons still outweigh the pros when you think about it.
The pros of Leather casing are: A good airpod case leather will protect your air pods, they’re water proof, they’re small and don’t take up a lot of space, and they have a keychain ring so you can keep track of your pods.
Cons are: You could risk ripping the leather once it’s worn in, and it’s still small so if you aren’t using a keyring to keep track of it you could still lose it. But the leather option gives you a chance to know where your pods are. So this con is outweighed by that one pro.
